The complete set of community rules that keep our server safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.

These rules exist to protect every member and ensure CodeVerse Hub remains a friendly, welcoming space. Please read them carefully — ignorance is not an excuse.

Follow Discord Terms & Guidelines

All server rules are based on Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Modded clients like Vencord or BetterDiscord are allowed.

No Raids, Doxxing, or Swatting

Do not participate in, joke about, or threaten raids, doxxing, or swatting. Any such threat will result in a permanent ban.

  • Sharing information related to these actions is also prohibited, even "for awareness"
  • You may discuss incidents for awareness only, without encouraging the behavior

Using Discord for scams, malware, viruses, IP grabbers, or harmful links is strictly prohibited — both inside the server and in DMs.

  • Cybersecurity discussions are allowed only in appropriate channels
  • Do not share malware, source code, tutorials, tools, or stream such content

No Sharing Personal Information

Leaking or sharing personal information is not allowed. This includes:

  • IP addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses
  • Legal names, IDs, or similar identifying data

Voice Channel Conduct

Prohibited behavior in voice channels includes:

  • Racism, sexism, hate speech, or ToS violations
  • Earrape or disruptive behavior
  • Recording or archiving conversations without owner permission

No NSFW, Gore, or Shock Content

NSFW content, gore, shock content, or explicit behavior is strictly prohibited. This includes jokes or indirect references to such content. Racism and sexism are also not allowed.

No Politics or Religious Debates

Politics and religion are not topics for this server. Any offensive content toward countries, institutions, or beliefs is prohibited.

Any reference to Nazis/Hitler or equivalents will result in a permanent ban.

Profiles Must Follow Rules

Your Discord profile must comply with server rules and Discord ToS. The following can be moderated:

  • Names, bios, avatars, pronouns, and statuses
  • NSFW content, hate speech, impersonation, or malicious content

No Advertising

Advertising is not allowed on this server.

  • DM advertising without a valid reason is prohibited and can result in a ban
  • If someone asks for a link, share it via DM only
  • Projects may be shared only in the appropriate channels

No Rule Loopholes — Use Common Sense

These rules are not exhaustive. Trying to bypass rules is not allowed. If you're unsure, ask staff via tickets or just don't do it.

Respect Moderation Decisions

Do not disrupt the server if you disagree with a punishment. Appeal respectfully through proper channels.

If bias is suspected after appeal, contact staff in this order via tickets/modmail only:

  1. Head Mod
  2. Admin
  3. Owner

Do not DM staff or add them without consent.

TL;DR

Use common sense, respect others, and act maturely. That's really all it takes.
